(1,2) AEO zijn alcohol -ethermengsels met een bepaalde molecuulgewichtverdeling geproduceerd door een stapsgewijze additieve ethoxyleringsreactie van vetalcoholen met ethyleenoxide in aanwezigheid van alkali, zuur of andere soorten katalysatoren (3).
